Well hello 
When you put it like that, how can I refuse 
First of all, you need to put your page into GuideML. Click Edit page, and change the style from Plain text to GuideML.
Up at the top, you will see tags. All the text has to go after the tag, and before the tag that's at the bottom!
Right, fonts and colours!...
are the tags to use.
type your text here
This will give you the Comic sans font, and the colour red for all the text you type between the Font tags. If you want your whole page to look the same, put the tag at the top, and the tag at the bottom, just above

Sowwy to bother you again but you helped tremendously before. The GuideML worked out very well except it has a problem with me putting stuff like 
it says "bad font closing expecting " what does that mean? what do i do??
I'm more than a little confused and I've realised that after studying IT for four years I am still none the wiser.

Glad the other stuff was useful 
Smileys work differently in GuideML. To put the in with ML, you need to type..
<SMILEY TYPE="fish"/>
See where the tag differs? It's all one tag instead of two separate ones! This works for all the smileys, just change the smiley name. You don't need to use two tags, just the one.
If you want to see the GuideML for a particular page, you can! Just change the URL in the address bar to...
Change the U to TestUserPage to see the ML for a personal space
Change the A to test to see it for an entry
You have to be on the page you want to see, and just alter the URL. Then you can copy and paste any bits you like!
