It's still been hot but it is raining right now, which does help to cool it down a bit!

It's funny that you said that.......I dreamed that I sent you a bag of snow that was packed in dry ice!!! hahahaha...

That was a lovely toast/wish! It reminds me of something I'm fond of saying during someone else's crisis;"I hope this is the worst thing that ever happens to you!" I usually get an odd look...then it seems to make sense.

I've an uneasy feeling...been w/me all day.....I hate when that happens.....& it stared out a nice day....freezing of course but there was deer prints from the woods to around the pool 7 then into the garage...I think since the river is frozen they were after the cat's water. I've had deer on the porch in the past!!! Perhaps it's something to do with all the logs??
If I go out and sing....yes, I go outside and sing...little racoons pop their heads up from the river bank......and when there are deer in the yard....I make a Ooooooo oooooo sound & they stop & look at me for a very long time. If I turn my head from side to side, they do the same!!
God how I'd love to live in your area...for the wildlife....the politics scare the L outta' me.

As safe as one can be anywhere, I suppose, thanks you for your concern. (After 9/11 is anywhere safe?) I try to get into the bush whenever I can and love the wildlife here. We often do workshops and team-building courses in the bush. Last time we had breakfast al fresco under acacia thorn trees surrounded by the African environment. It was marvellous!

I, on the other hand, would love to go to Alaska for a year or so to experience that type of wilderness both winter and summer. I could even find a few good stoeps up there to spread the message. One day, perhaps?

Turns out my foreboding was due to the death of someone close to me.... I hate when that happens....but, hey, he's in Harley Heaven now!

My sister just won a trip for she & her hubby to Alaska...on a ship...I can hardly bring myself to tell you this...she traded it in for a trip to VEGAS!!!!

I must admit I find the traditional concept of Eternity too much for this bunch of brain cells to comprehend...
An old science teacher of mine promoted the treatise that the planets are nothing more than atoms of a larger universe with its own time scale and that universe was merely atoms of a bigger.....

You seem very confident about life on The Other Side. Have you had contact from someone who has crossed? I'd love to hear about it.

I mean, it's only natural!
I'll sit down and tell you all about it, if you like...Since I was tiny I recall spirts guides around me...I jussss didn't know what they were. My grandmother, from Europe, also had 'The Knowing'.
She knew when I was very young that my life wuld be more different that anyone else's in my family. Brother was she ever right about that.
And here's the thing....growing up withy people who encouraged me to be 'one with nature' was so natural...I've only come to realise in the past few years thet EVERYone hasn't/doesn't see the same things as do I.
As a mental health professional...I went from shrink to shrink...
trying to PROVE I had something mentally worng!!
The 4th shrink I visited told me, "Young woman, if you are hearing a voice, then someone is indeed speaking and I suggest you start paying closer attention."
The next shrink told me 'bout the same thing.What I thought was insanity. Turned out to be:nature.

If you're really interested...I can recant independent accounts of visitations...it'll blow your hair back. However, I have scienfific documentation that says I'm in the "sickeningly normal range"...
with a wee spike in control issues.Guess if ya' gotta' have spikes on a mentla health issue...better to be the battering ram than the door mat.
