Hello Deackie. I've found another page, I'll but you a Pint at the next event.
Now we have a subject
deackie Posted Sep 10, 2002
Both to the finding another page and the pint
I've even linked to the Sproutlore website on my user page. Now I think I need to start a campaign for a smiley

Ok, are there any rules apart from: it has to be 3 lines? Can you pick anything as the next subject?

It has to be three lines, 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the next and 5 in the last. This particular haiku thread is devoted to SF topics but there are other threads where the topic is anything. Someone back in the conversation I did write a haiku on Robert Rankin. It's a very bad one.

I've given it a go. Can I make it so I get an e-mail when someone replies to a post on here

Unfortunately not. Judging by the number of forum postings that I'm subscribed to I'm very glad too, my inbox would be flooded. One conversation can often get more than 4242 postings to it

I'm impressed, I'm also unable to create one about Stargate, I managed one about my course though when I discovered today that yet another lecture was cancelled.
Rooms get double booked
Lecturers fail to arrive
Students turn to drink
If I'd have known I'd have stayed in the pub for longer.

Can you edit these posts once you put them. I'll change Stargate to something else.............

Unfortunately the posts can't be edited. Someone will write a Haiku for Stargate and if my brain switches on, I might yet

Hmm, and the pub is practically next door one pint couldn't hurt
and neither would the next one

Drinking Champaign eh? Very civilised of you, sounds like a lucky lodger. This last weekend I was mainly watching a gig (Band called Primal Fear) and missing the earthquake. Still things will pick up again with a few drinks in the Alexandra tonight. What's your drink of choice 2 Legs?
