I was moderated earlier for quoting from a Syd Barrett song. I mean.....what? Copyright they said. Can't be bothered to argue.

What do you think about the Roger Waters solo albumns?. I didn't think much of Pros and Cons, loved Radio Kaos and Amused to Death, especially when Jeff Beck was let loose.

Have you ever heard them? Has he done any since Amused to Death?

Oh and thanks for taking part,and helping to end the 360 debate. I'm pretty sure now that the initial question is unanswerable. Where would we be without unanswerable questions.

I got H and I moderated in the middle of S and T, and it's so funny, seeing S**t on the screen!
There are pages and pages about this elsewhere, I've said before in another thread, you can say anything you want if you put it in quotes and say where it's from.
My example was theTony award in thr hhgttg book, but that's another story, and I'm still on 20 minutes timeout here.....

You've got me on that last Roger album,I haven't heard that one.
The "Urban Myth" story that got over here was that Roger wrote and demo'd 3 albums and took them to "the others" and the band chose "The Wall", leavig Roger with the others.
So "The Wall", "The Pro's and Con's", and "The Final Cut", all written at the same time, all sound the same.......
Am I wrong about "The Final Cut" ?
Anyway I quite like "The Pro's and Con's", used to have it on tape, it's either stolen or never retuned after borrowing, so someone else must like it...

Sorry for calling "Radio Chaos" "The Welsh Album", but I was trying to get out before the 20 minute thing cut me off, and just wrote the first thing that came into my head.
I got "Chaos" on vinyl, and listened to it a lot, to me it sounds like "The Wall part 5".
Anyway, I've got to get the 15 year old up out of bed for his milk run in 2 hours, so I've gotta go.....

I've got a 15 yr old son. Comes in today, announces he doesn't want to stay on at school for another two years, wants to to leave in 2 months time and get a job. Big, heavy discussions in the not too distant.

Amused to Death came out around 1990. It's classic Waters. Haven't heard of him since though.

Hi Ford

Think I've got the hang of this GuideML code now. I'll have to do a proper entry soon. I've decided to be the h2g2 goalkeeper. Don't ask why. I was well out of it when I made the request. I must of thought it was funny. Now it looks very serious.

Every team needs a good goalkeeper. Congratulations, that's a post well filled.
Have to go and see if there's any word on why I got a whole entry moderated, seemed quite innocous to me.
Maybe that was a good night for the things we're not allowed to mention, and I said something without realising I had said it.
Don't think it's that, it's something stupid.
Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking is a good title for in here.

I had my entire 'own page' hidden for a day. It's back now. No changes. No explanation of why it was being moderated. I felt like I'd been burgled. Have I complained? No. You are reading this, aren't you moderators?. 1984? I got married in 1984. Orwell was right. Bloody awful year.

Is Larne really that bad? Sometimes I feel that way about Kettering, but like this place, it has it's pros.
