So they call that a 'feature' now, hmm? More like a pain in the a**!
Did you request the 'time out' feature? Did it cost more? Does it come it different colors?
Hello, and welcome to h2g2. I have been lost here, myself, for weeks and weeks, just hoping my computer would time out so I could escape!
Yes, it is... massive(?) And very different from anything I have run accross on the web yet. I hope you enjoy getting lost here as much as I!
I imagine that soon an ACE will notice you have not been 'officially' welcomed, and will come on by to give you the key to the staff washroom, a complimentary mug , and show you where to park your horse. Until then, please make yourself comfortable, have a and on me... (please keep the mug, there seems to be an endless supply)
Have fun. Watch out for the

I have been trying to reply to you for about 2 hours and cannot believe how many things have gone wrong in terms of timeout etc....
I changed the rules for the timeout to give me double the time, and it's helped a bit......
Thank you for noticing me and thanks for the welcome, somene from ace is bound to be here shortly, but you were about first..

This is now Saturday, 2:40 ish a.m. and I' just coming back in to see what's new. Terrible time last night.
Motto for reference is "Pan Galactic Gargle Blast Cider in combination with Pan Galactic Gargle Blast Volatile Inhalable Combustable Material .... bad combinatin when using "prev" key ....wipes what you spent ages doing, start again, try to beat the afore mentioned timeout feature and fail, repeatedly."
Started off by saying"THANKS" for your input, answers were yynnn, to your questions, and had a look at your stuff......
Had the thought that Douglas Adams wouln't have got the TONY AWARD section past the moderators.
Now that I think about it, I can use the word if it is in a Quote from a published (?) work.
Quote..."The most gratuitous use of the word F**K in a serious screenplay". with any luck this will be moderated to F**K.
Don't seem to be able to get the star symbol tonight..
Gonna do this in 2 parts.
Isn't this where........

....we came in.
is my musical quote for tonight.
Having split this in two I thought that using Pink Floyd's "The Wall" would be recognised by everybody as being what starts the album "Isn't this..", and the end "...we came in".
Another thing I lost was a reply to your "Goo Blue" entry, unless of course I'm wrong and it did get through.
My reply went something like....
I recognise that, isn't that in F# ?
I was joking of course.
What a mindboggingly big place this is.
Please excuse any duplicated entries. I'll leave you alone and go exploring for a year or two.
Still no official welcome, so you are nominated as my official semi official welcome.
Did I say to pop over to MIAOW KITTY, she has written an entry about the BOSTON TRANSIT SYSTEM.
Well I though it was good. .

Back again, still haven't set sail on my 1 or 2 year voyage to the end of the h2g2 universe, but in real time it's only been 49 mins or so.
So I'm back to annoy you again.
Are you really psychic or do you only live around the corner ?How did you know about the horse?
It's name is Heidi and my better half dissapears twice a day to feed it and muck out. It's at a Trout Fishery about 4 miles away. Can't complain about her dissapearing twice a day, can I?
Have you seen, or did I see it on your space, the conversation about song titles?
"Young Girl Blues" Sammy Hagar.
bye.
