I wonder if you could clarify the following paragraph for me?

"Two planetary systems had been found in this constellation through 2007. The size of the extrasolar planet is compared to the mass of Jupiter, our Solar System's largest planet, known by astronomers as the 'Jovian scale'."


By 'through 2007' do you mean 'by the end of' or 'during'?

When you mention 'the extra-solar planet' in the singular do you mean that only one planet has actually been measured, though two systems have been detected?

The intent was by the end of 2007.
And each individual planet had its mass indicated compared to the size of Jupiter. It was not meant to denote the number of planets in a system nor the number of systems.
Feel free to reword these as you see fit.
