Hello and welcome to the guide at it's new home back at the BBC (where it all began). I'm Demon Drawer (DD to my friends) and the ACE bit stands for Assistant Community Editor (which means that I try and help out newcomers to the site), the Guru bit means that I know a little bit about how things work around here (and should be able to answer questions or point you somewhere that can ). Hopefully I can help you as a new/returning user find your way around. So here are some bits of stuff you may find of assistance:

Mr Douglas Adams' and the BBC's shameless self plugging for this site on BBC News 24 yesterday was a revalation.
With the Hitch Hikers' Guide Mr Adams pre-empted the world of cyberspace (to coin William Gibson!) but \with a somewhat better search engine. I feel honoured to be accepted and to become a cog in the machine.

I'm not sure if there is a society in existance yet for comics, but it does ring a vague bell...Perhaps DD can help me out here?

Wowbaggers strips are called h2g2 life (from memory).

If you pay him a visit he might be able to point you in the right direction re comic strips

Yeah Wowbagger's cartoons are very good echoes of life here at h2g2 and the more you hang around he more you will see where he gets his inspiration from. I do believe me and my fiancee even made one about a recent meet up, we apparently could be seen snogging in the corner.
