G'day BK - good to hear from you - hope that your recovery is coming along well smiley - biggrin

Pre-moderation is imposed not by a specific researcher, but by the Powers That Be, for ongoing transgressions - LW, for example, has been on pre-mod for a while and he is known by the moderators.

Pre-mod means that each post is read and checked before it is "released" - so that, if a researcher is having problems , the mods are probably aware of it before you are.

I will however, see what I can do for you - leave it with me - I can't get the pre-mod lifted but I can make TPTB aware of your concern. smiley - biggrin

I'm afraid that, as I suspected, there was not much I could do on the pre-mod thing ....

The only suggestion for people who are on pre-moderation is to pay attention to the email they received informing them of the reason for the change in their posting status. The only thing that matters is whether the person has ceased to be a problem, and if the individual concerned is still behaving in the way they were when they were placed on pre-moderation - or is being a nuisance in other ways, they will not be taken off pre-moderation.

The Powers will not discuss someone else's moderation with another Researcher. If you wish to help, you can do so by focusing on your friend and encouraging them not to cause themselves more trouble.

If the person in question appears suicidal or likely to harm themselves, the best option would be to suggest that they to speak to someone they trust, contact the Samaritans or speak to their GP. I think that sometimes anything else you might offer could do more harm than good - remember that, in most cases, we're not trained
counsellors.

It's really kind of you, to be concerned, but please, don't get yourself into "a state" - you still have a lot of recovery ahead of you smiley - hug

Hi mate,

Just a quickie, i wrote a journal today and posted it but it didnt appearsmiley - erm, it said it will post it soon.

Is there a delay on journals being posted or have they got to be checked first.

smiley - ok

Feisor - -0- Generix I made it back - sortof ...

No, no delay - but I know that there have been a few "bugs" with journals.

Its there now though - I just read it - all I can say is that you ARE a silly buggr - but you are our silly buggr and we all care.

It's lucky that we can all only live life one day at a time - can you imagine how much damage we would do if it was otherwise smiley - yikes
