Sepultura, havent heard a lot of their music i think about 2 songs on the radio, they arent that big in the uk, i used to play in a band years ago on drums, we wrote our own songs and did some cover versions also, we covered Enter Sandman, One and a few other metallica songs, megadeath ones we covered peace sells, hangar 18 and a few others again.
Anything with double bass kick is the business for me, do you play an instrument

Don't worry... why not to talk somebody who is 40?
especially if taht persons likes metal and hardrock!...... actually i just asked because i ws wondering you have a famaly... yes it's true whenevr it comes to Antrhrax or metallica i automaticly think about people who are about my age.......
maybe because my mother is allways agruing with me beacuse of this "Screeming-not-music" thing.
.....yeah it's hard to live with a hardcore Mozart fan in one home (not like i would hate mozart or something like this), ecpecially if this person is against everything tht isn't just played with violins.....
By the way, you asked if i play an instrument: no but I thatfor I#am one of this girls whom help their friends to get some possibilitis to play in public. So i'am organizing some local festivals and work their as a waitress and Carrier for the instruments!

I was into metallica when they started, i was about 20 then, they have been going a long time and megadeath was the original guitarist from metallica, i could be 80 and still rock my head off, but the false teeth by then would probably fall out, and be headbanging with grey hair or even bald
first saw ac/dc in 1977 in london, i was 13 and it was the first time my parents let me out to go to a gig.
If your friends are in a band give them all the support they need, music is a gift for life

Thats true but sometimes it can be very though tooo... also for a girlfriend not just for the bandmembers!
nearly tfreak out when i think about the fact, that my boyfriend won't join his own and also my Conclusion ball because he must play on a concert that day!
If you look at metallica you can see, that also people over 30 still can rock (maybe they are eaven harder Rocks than the joung Rockers!)
and Ac/Dc are also still giving concerts (although just in australia)!
I once was on a Metallica concert.. two years ago... it was fantastique!
What do you think about iron maiden by the way??
Music and so on!
Marmite Posted Sep 13, 2005
does your boyfriend play an instrument then.
early iron maiden i loved, number of the beast album was super, i like some of their later stuff but not all, but live they are the business, have seen them about 5 times in concert and they kick

No, he plays 3 instruments and joins 3 bands..........

Marmite Posted Sep 13, 2005
what instruments does he play, and why in 3 bands only 1 band will work, he must concentrate on 1 band only, do they play rock

well.. thats a little bit hard to explain. He jused to play drums in his selffoundet band, but as their singer wnt away he had to do the voice part. and because he didn't want to stand around without playing any instrument he learnd playing the guitar. That is (was) a rock band with selfwritten songs and as they finaly got the chance to record one, they decided for one of their softer songs. (It was a local heros CD, so there were a lot of other bands onn the cd too and the person who founded this idea didn't want to have a rel hard song on the cd). The pronblem was, taht about 2 month later they got a chance to make their own cd, but just because of this song. And now the drumern and the one on the bass guitar said they don't want to record more of this not heavy stuff.
My friend got sick of this discussion and decided to join another band (The Vox populi) wher he is second voice and bass guitar player (so the three instruments).
the old band 8Though trace) told him to decide for one band, but he already had his first gigs together with the otjher one so he decided to leave the first projct.
The Vox populi for sure are easyer listening stuff something beetween pop and rock but beacuse he missed playing drums and didn't want to end playing that instrument he joind the last band: Bandaachea (coverband).
While though trace couldn't find a leading voice and he decide to return and sing for them again.
So he plays in 3 bands now, and allways another instrument. Yopu might say this won't work out good because of reasons of time. But don't worry he cuts it of of school and during his freetime ther is "just" music......and me...but me for sure after the music. So i have to join his samples!
But to be true there is nothing i would like to do more than listenig to his bands and join their samples and somehow also be a part of their gigs!
