do they still do the sadistic 'N' grade? As in "Well, you Nearly passed.... but we're not going to give it to you."

Yes, I am aiming for an N in Maths AS. I shan't atain it though .

Just think, our prospective Uni's might already have our results and could be sitting there, laughing at my maths grade. Like this:

"Ahaahah! What an idiot!!"

Hmm, I seem to recall from the news a while back that some universities weren't taking any notice really of AS results when considering people. I hope it goes okay for you.

Oh yes, I must apologise to St Emily - my addled brain had been thinking that she is the Queen of April Fools somehow (1st April is known as Fish Day in France).

On the contrary, I was very impressed; I'd forgotten about the 'Fish Day' thing - and it's the first time anyone's ever suggested that one - most people think I'm the Queen of the REDfish, which is rather less impressive, don't you think?...

Only two days to go now, Emily! I guess the nerves must be increasing a little bit...
When we were waiting for our A-level results, my friends and I decided to play it safe and have a celebratory drink _before_ the results were posted - that way everyone was still feeling optimistic and happy.
