Reach out an envy someone

I've just made a startling discovery: myspace.com is the new AIM! Shocking.

Anyway, I've discovered that a fried of mine has a blog, and I feel compelled to write some drivel that will appear to the general public just so that I can feel a part of the blogging universe.

Like most people I am torn between the desire to keep my thoughts (and ultimate genius) private, or to blab away in a space like this. for tonight: i blab away here.

I think I'll edit my space as well, just for kicks, becuase i havent done that in, oh, 2 years?

friday, 28 Sept.

To Whom it May Concern:

this friday, my company will be having layoffs. I'm not sure if I will be one of them. As my internet access is currently through my company, you may see a surprising drop off in my time here... sorry about that.

I'll keep you updated as to my status.

thanks everyone,
unremarkable.

new york

my uncle is a new york city fire fighter.

he is a captain in the city's rescue one company. rescue one is always the first on the scene of a disaster. he was one of the first there today.

this evening, he's in new yorks bellview hospital, injured, but not lost. his injuries are extensive, but not life threatening. (we think) apparently he was injured in one of the early secondary explosions or in the collapse of the first tower.

today, is indeed, a day that will live in infamy.
