I believe your request for angelhood was the patronage of Things with Fangs, is that correct? The sainting ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 17th, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F57540?thread=120969 Let me know what you'll be wearing, and if you'll be accompanied by anyone...

So you like The Raven? Have you read Abort, Retry, Ignore? If not, you'll find the URL to it here:

Very impressive poem. Thankyou.
I always thought that angels went around naked. But on second thoughts, I don't suppose the Beeb would approve.
I suppose if I have to wear something it would be, well, I have no idea actually. I'll have to get back to you on it. My life experiance doesn't cover sainting ceremonies or what to wear at them.
Oh, and do I need a pilots licence to be fitted with these wings? Or perhaps the view is that trainee angels are responsible enough not to need silly things like flying lessons.

No, we don't fly around naked - sorry...
Wear anything you like, anything you feel accentuates your personality - or anything you feel comfortable in...
And if you have a look at the place where the ceremony is to take place, you'll see that the walls are all crumbled, meaning there is a lot of free space for you to try out those wings you'll be receiving......especially if you have one of Archangel Kes' PGGBs before attempting to fly...

OK, I'll be wearing black trousers, a purple shirt and a pair of not overly high shoes that don't rub if such a pair exists. I was going to be wearing my favourite dress but if I'm going to be flying then I think my modesty would be compromised.
I won't be able to get there till this afternoon though, another example of real life getting in the way of my chance of eternal salvation.
Wow, I can nearly call myself a saint .

There's just a little more than 10 minutes left - sure you can't attend? Otherwise we'll just cover for you, don't worry...

Thankyou for your welcomes.
I did pop in briefly to the ceremony, allbeit a bit late, but I couldn't stay because RL was interfering very rudely- I have a physics exams tomorrow. Although, having learnt all the principles, flying should be a doddle.
