theres a track of a live boot leg n billy sayes (with out takeing a breath allway through)

Have you ever tried playin Basket Case on an acoustic guitar. Sounds quite good.

i cant play basketcase my sense of rythem leaves something to be desired i can get the chords right but not the rhytem

I play it with amore melow rhythm. I can't seem to get the changes in All By Myself right but I know the chords. Good Riddance is another one that i can strum but not do the picking stuff.
