I do remember "Bring me sunshine".
And Angela Rippon doing the can-can.
I even remember the M&W black & white films!
The Carry-On's were the best though.
The musicals I love are "Singing in the Rain", all of the Bing Crosby/Bob Hope "Road to" movies; "High Society"; "The King and I"; "The Sound of Music"; even "Mary Poppins", which inspired me to write a guide entry {which just happened to be on the front page yesterday!}
on Emmeline Pankhurst.
There are others here my age.
A lot of teenagers granted, but if you are looking for the older & wiser brigade, I'd be delighted to introduce you around!

I heartily agree with all your choices, but must add the Danny Kaye musicals to the list (Court Jester, White Xmas, Wonder Man etc.) They don't make 'em like that anymore - shame!
