I do remember "Bring me sunshine".
And Angela Rippon doing the can-can.
I even remember the M&W black & white films!
The Carry-On's were the best though.
The musicals I love are "Singing in the Rain", all of the Bing Crosby/Bob Hope "Road to" movies; "High Society"; "The King and I"; "The Sound of Music"; even "Mary Poppins", which inspired me to write a guide entry {which just happened to be on the front page yesterday!}on Emmeline Pankhurst.
There are others here my age.
A lot of teenagers granted, but if you are looking for the older & wiser brigade, I'd be delighted to introduce you around!
Just hold onto my wings....but don't pull out any feathers.

Angela Rippon's legs.... now you're talking! The news was never the same again, was it?
I heartily agree with all your choices, but must add the Danny Kaye musicals to the list (Court Jester, White Xmas, Wonder Man etc.) They don't make 'em like that anymore - shame!
OK, I'm hanging on to your wings, gently - let's fly!
