h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi WIllem, where have you been? You usually get online on Sundays, but I haven't seen you in a few weeks now. Hope all is well.

Hey JEllen! First of all thanks for missing me! I was starting to wonder if anybody over here still wants to talk to me. At any rate, I've been very busy. I recently completed a big painting of an elderly lady and I've also been on holiday with my parents, my sister, her husband and his parents and my little nephew Christiaan. I've also been on trips with German students who've been visiting South Africa. I'm studying German at the University of Limpopo. And also my phone has been giving me problems, but it's fixed now. For all of these reasons I haven't been active on h2g2 lately! But anyways I hope I'm back now. I've been missing you too! As well as abbi, Terri and others ...

I'm starting on a painting myself tonight! It is of two little girls, granddaughters of a friend of mine.

Hey! It's great that you're still busy with the art. I have two new commissions as well! There are two German students, Anja and Jessica, who are visiting South Africa and they both asked me to draw something for them. Anja wants a picture of herself for her boyfriend, and Jessica wants a picture of a chameleon! They're in South Africa for three months, and I've been driving them around showing them somem of the sights.

I really want to return to h2g2 full force sometime! I've decided to try and make time despite being busy. I've also decided I'm going to write articles for the Guide again. I'm going to write about all the weird and interesting South African plants. I want to start by telling folks about Giant Carrion Flowers! I'm going to provide links to my own photos and drawings that I have online on Webshots.

I've been good! That's great that you are getting commisions! But I'm not surprised, your work is very good.

I've been mostly looking after Mom. Have been dieting some, lost about 6 pounds. Eatings lots of fruits and veggies. Have been reading a mystery thriller called A Coffin for Dimitrios. It's good so far.
