Yesterday - 18th September - was Vivienne's 258th birthday. Willem himself made a bitsy mistake, somewhere writing '256' by mistake.

Saw the huge American flag on your page ... of course, many non-Americans also died/will also die. Did anybody yet think of coming up with a flag for the *world*?

Hullo.

I read Topica all the time. (I get individual e-mails, so get them throughout the day.) Barton's story about the girl really got to me. I haven't been able to write a response yet.

As to the flag, I have been working on a design. I fear that I am not talented enough - either as an artist, or a coder - yet to creat one myself... I continue to try though...

Sadly, I am still in training at work. It sucks up my time and makes me - I fear - not the most pleasant of companions. (I would really much prefer to just jump in and learn as I go, but they won't let me. ) Ah well, today and tomorrow and then I'm done with that.

I look forward to more questions. I am still trying to compose something to show how I feel that can be posted anywhere. There are just too many emotions flosting around in my head to do it yet, though... When I do, I'll let you know.
