Right, now I've got your attention, here's something to keep us going over summer if anyone's interested.

I was looking for some inspiration for EG Entries and was listening to one of my fave bands - the Bare Naked Ladies.

The song 'One Week' started and I thought;

"Hey, there's loads of pop culture references in there, I wonder..."

So I collated most of the references that could be Guide Entries - and here they are:

Snickers - The Chocolate bar

I think Emmily is collecting/writing chocolate-related entries, so maybe you could ask her about the snickers one.
Bert Kaempfert - he was a German, wasn't he ? I could try to find some info about him, but will be on a holiday from tomorrow on, plus I'm currently involved in a few other things, but I'll get back to you on that one if nobody's keen on writing about him.

This sounds like another forthcoming 'song' Entry, of the type which Felonius Monk hates so much.

I dunno anything about Bert, Bella...

But go for your life. I've not got intentions of it being a 'song project', just a sort of, well here's some ideas for Entries thing.

Wasn't there a 'Vogue' (Madonna) project kicking about some time back too?

He played the trumpet, was very well known here, but I think even in the UK. I think he had his own Big Band, but not too sure about it. I don't even know if he's still alive
