.. Haven't heard -any- news in far too long.. How are you doing? I seem to have lost the link to all the conversations, but I'm sure I can find one at yoz.com? I'll be looking there as soon as I finish this.. which, come to think of it, I've almost done..
*hugs* for good measure..

I'm awake! I'm awake!

Hey Nonnie! Thanks for the mail and posting!
(this reply is being both sent in mail and posted, but easily the most effective way of getting in touch with me is by mail)
Sorry I haven't kept stuff up to date recently... I haven't even updated my page since I was in San Francisco a year ago, so I've really let things go. But now I know I have an eager audience (of at least one) I should really do something about it!
What am I up to... well, I'm no longer at h2g2. I left at the end of October, spent a month on the West Coast again (as you may have realised, I like it there a lot ) and started as a technical architect (whatever that means) at Sparza in December. However, I should add that my leaving h2g2 was entirely amicable and I'm still in touch with everyone there - I drop in about once a week since my new office is only a couple of minutes walk away, which is cool. I miss being with the gang there, it was such a "big family" atmosphere and I don't feel I've settled in here at Sparza quite yet. However, it looks like Sparza's going to be doing some quite exciting things (well, exciting for a rampant geek like me, anyway) so I'm glad to be here.
Other than that, things are cool! After my little episode in April it only took three or four months for me to recover completely, and now that I've decided to stay in England for the moment I'm looking for a place to live (wanting to buy a two-bedroom flat in NW London). I'm still getting out a lot, having fun, namedropping etc.
So, okay, I'm definitely going to update my page now. Well, very soon. Honestly. Real soon now.
Thanks again for the knock - nice to know I'm missed! And it's good to see how well the community's doing on h2g2!
*BIG HUGS TO ALL*

Woohoo!!

I'm sorry to hear you've left us (no, I hadn't heard much of anything -- I was still worried about your recovery or possible lack of such!), but I'm glad you're happy (or on the road to there) where you're at now. I take it h2g2 couldn't find enough geeky stuff to keep you occupied, eh? Tsk tsk.. they should have taken better care of you. *peers around* Oops... uhm.. *ahem*
Anyway, at least you're out and about now, and I'd given up finding you through your pages.. Email.. what a concept!
Now I gotta run, but don't be a stranger!
Big s!
