I posted a suggestion to Jim Lynn ( http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=432&thread=14800 , third item in the forum) and he referred me to you. Basically, I was trying suggest a simple mechanism for publicising undervisited threads. I note, for example, that you've dropped in on Mornington Crescent - there are also the Limerick game and Cheddar Gorge, but no way to let potential players know without Spamming forums.
Jim thinks I should suggest threads to you for publicising on the "front page", but I still think my "Desperately Seeking Traffic" idea is better for two reasons - it doesn't require administration once it's "up", and short-lived subjects can be publicised in a timescale where the H2G2 staff wouldn't have time to look at them. (Check my original post when you have a moment)
