Is this the same Yoz that ran the Mornington Crescent server at Delphi, perchance?

S'me! And I'm still on PaulWay's MCD-L list, which seems pretty quiet at the moment.
Haven't played any MC in a long while, though - I'm very rusty, and the first stray shunt will probably see me out of the game.
Still, wouldn't mind the odd knockabout on a Sunday...

I haven't played Regular Crescent in a while either, although I have been playing a lot of Mornington Nomic with PaulWay, Kevan and Dunx. I'll have to reveal to them where you've been hiding, I'm afraid. (Muah-ha-ha-ha)
Praps a Mornington Crescent forum is just what h2g2 needs...

Fantastic - only last night was i Thinking of a mornington crescent entry!
I haven't played since delphi died - nowhere else seemed the same, also i had a bit of a break over the hols, and when i got back nobody knew me and i felt lost!
What did happen to delphi anyway? I do miss it so ;-(

Delphi Internet became Delphi Creative became Springboard (that's when I left) and Springboard produced LineOne. Delphi MC was left to run on the C'Lock server and eventually, alas, fell over.
(I still have the code and game files for Delphi MC, should anyone want them)
If you want to play, there's still www.crescent.org.uk which has a few good links. (Haven't looked very hard, though)

Do you have the James Bond vs. Goldfinger MC story, Yoz? I've missed that.
I haven't played in a while either, not since things got more hectic at work and I lost a lot of my surfing time. The two good servers when I stopped were "Mornington Crescent Not At York Anymore" and "The Adventures of Mornington Crescent Through the Sixth Dimenstion". Mornington Nomic is also worth a look - MC with Actual Rules.
I'll see if I can track down the URLs...

tch. Did I do that wrong, Yoz, or does the messageboard not support links?

Yoz Posted Jul 13, 1999
Messageboard doesn't support link tags, but it's just as well as you're meant to put "http://" at the beginning of the link to make it a proper URL. If you do that, the h2g2 forum will automatically link it, like so: http://www.h2g2.com/ The missing chapter of Goldfinger... that's a good candidate for a user entry, that is. I'll try and stick it up tomorrow. -- Yoz
