OK. It wasn't Linux at all. Well not really. Was a bit cack of it not to
make the bootable partition active though.
I had all sorts of problems after installing a second drive. Found out that
a wire had trapped the CPU fan causing it to overheat.
Anyway, it all works with Apache and Samba and most importantly the Half-Live server.
Virtual hosting is fab and works nicely. http://www.cant-be-arsed.com has received over a 1000 hits since friday.
Meanwhile the XML parser continues to dominate my life. Ho hum.
Apache? Samba? HL Server?

You mean your Linux box does real work? All I ever seem to do these days is play lxDoom (deep joy), fart about with Enlightenment themes (very pretty though) and recover yet another screwed up gnome session. If you don't already use Gnome session management, don't bother, it's shite.
It''ll be time for a large compile soon (E, I think), but Eterm went far too well - I think it's storing up something evil for me

I use it for an X display for my NT box. I run xv on NT and the display goes to the linux box. Then I connect Linux back to NT with VNC. Hmm, I better call my brain consultant. Ciao!
