Hi Wile E, you've been gone 5 weeks now. Hope you are doing okay, and that you come back to hootoo soon.

I’m still alive! *tries to think of excuses* I’ve been away for the weekend and... I’ve got to head off soon, so I’ll think of more excuses and post something more substantial tomorrow.
I read about your ankle. Hope it’s feeling much better now. What date are you moving?

Friday! It's so close to Christmas, I hope it goes okay. Little nervous, but everything is packed.

Hey, you should be in your new place by now! How did the move go? How does it feel to be away from your old neighbours?

The move itself was stressful, seeing as how I had a twisted ankle, and was dizzy. But I am very happy in the new place -- it is great. Quite beautiful. You might even say ritzy.

So, how’s the new place? It must feel great to be away from those noisy neighbours! Has Micio settled in ok? Did I lurk something about another visit to the vets?
We had a quiet Christmas over here. I’ve taken on a new challenge, and decided to start learning Japanese a couple of weeks ago. Don’t ask me why!
Actually, I’ve wanted to learn another language for a while now, and I decided it would have to be something exotic to hold my interest. I’m planning on visiting Japan next year, so that’ll be a good incentive to make some progress.
Did your ankle heal up ok? I twisted mine badly when I was in Thailand the other year, and it took months before I was totally free of pain.

Hey, wooh hoo, great to see you!
Yes, my new neighbors are, so far, very quiet. Hooray! Though sometimes it gets so quiet it spooks me somewhat.
Yes, Micio had to go in for a heart ultrasound. They said that the walls of her heart were still very thick, but that otherwise she is doing okay. Bless her furry little self. She has taken to ignoring her cat furniture and crowding onto my bed at night. I let her, because I can't bear to kick her off.
Learning Japanese, huh? That actually sounds pretty cool.
My ankle is still pretty dang sore, and I am still limping badly. I have a feeling this one will take a l-o-n-g time to heal.
My old clock radio bit the dust, so I got to get a new one today. It plays CDs, so I can go to sleep to music, and wake up to more music. Ideal. Yes, I realize that many people have ipods by now, but those little things are expensive! So I'm happy with my CD clock.

Hehehe, only a two year interval. What's a little time in a good conversation?
