This last few weeks, the weather has been getting colder. The sun is hidden behind the mountain earlier and earlier each day. The leaves are changing to red and gold... Its the Jewel'd Season

someone in New Hampshire also takes great joy in the 'jewel'd season' a little lady we know who walks in the park on a crisp clear day to take pictures (photographs) of the trees arrayed in Autumn golds, shades of red ,copper, and purple....Aah! just to look at those photos during the winter months will certainly give us pleasure. Thankyou Taliesan ,,,and a certain lady.

Thank you, M=^^=C
Do you know that you don't really need to include your nickname in the body of your posting? The system puts it above your message automatically
Sometimes researchers 'sign' their postings with a variant or short form of their nickname, but even that is optional..
BTW, my nick is 'Taliesin', not 'Taliesan'.. although that sounds cool , too.. kind of has an oriental flavor to it.. 'Honorable Talie-san'

hello O famous Bard of one who dwelt in the mysterious past
from out of the more recent past one would want to see per chance that a message would materialize perhaps words of great wisdom, or yet again the merry words of a jester or even a prediction of words hidden in the dark present-future.
Alas fair Bard , I do not jest, but speak with truth that tho I searched both Hi and Lo the sweet promise of communication has once more eluded
your faithful M=^^=C

Honourable Taliesin
Your velly good servant, begs pardon for ewwew, also begs a thousand times for being hasty, for these unhappy eyes not seeing the message to unworthy self...(How am I doing ?) 'onestly chum I must 'ave parsed it rite by, or, more like as not done summat with the mouse that was wrong. Hey ! it was customary to blame the cat when things went wrong when I was a youngster, now it's the mouse , O well please accept my (velly solly) apology

No apologies required..
But be careful the moderators don't mistake your 'vernacular' or 'pidgin' for a foreign language..
And you are doing just fine.. Sometimes it takes a few moments for a particular page to display completely on the site, so you might easily not see the last few messages in any particular conversation thread
Also, sometimes it is easy to double, even triple post... as you can see by scrolling upward in this thread.. But don't fret.. it happens to even experienced Researchers. Especially when the servers are very busy..
And BTW, as you explore the site, and engage in various conversations, you will find some incredibly terrible spellers, and typists.. But no one cares, really, as long as people make an effort to understand and to be understood, because communicating and communing is what it is all about

It has occurred to me that although there are other topics worthy of discussion (for light entertainment) one can always say Something about the weather.....perhaps that is why Taliesin's Jewel'd season evoked a few responses. Here I am going to jump from Autumn , Oct-Nov to Spring .Mar-Apr, and the following, learned in standard (grade) 3 in 1926 !! By that statement , you'll twig to the fact that I am one of the Seniors..I know, it is a bad habit this digressing ! It makes the entry longer.
Without further ado -------Spring-time-
The sun and rain in fickle weather were playing hide and seek together. and each in turn would try to chase the other from it's hiding place.
at last they met to say " goodbye' , and Lo! a Rainbow spanned the sky
and
Keep on smiling, keep on smiling do, though you may feel blue , a smile will pull you through,
Clouds may gather , up in the sky, but by and by the
sun will shine, yes the sun will shine ,so, keep on smiling keep on smiling do, don't let troubles trouble you., Don't give up and start to frown. though the world seems upside down.
Hang it make your own sunshine, and keep on smiling do.
cheerio
