Just watching the forcast and the big ol' counterclockwise pump out in the Pacific is shooting more warm, wet weather our way. How's the flood situation there? In Vancouver (especially North Vancouver) we tend to forget that all that water doesn't just flow straight into the sea a few blocks away in the rest of the province.
Stay dry!

... and lots of it!
The Similkameen is running quite full, but not anywhere near flood level.
A couple of years ago it went much higher.
The main ranch buildings are all high and dry -- it would take a cataclysmic event to flood them. The well and pumphouse on the lower field, closer to the river, could possibly be flooded, but it would require a fairly serious amount of water to raise the river that high.
I _am_ dry! I do believe I'll have a bit of refreshment..
