I'm not really here

I think it's sweet that someone is using h2g2 as part of a computer course. smiley - smiley Could we charge, do you think? smiley - winkeye

Probably not. But maybe we could use the school's soccer field. Or maybe it's one of those posh private schools with a smiley - racket1 court

I do think it would be nice it the teacher wrote a brief introduction, perhaps telling us a little about his/her class..

Maybe we could help in some way

I'm not really here

It is a bit rude (imo) to use us this way, and not even write an intro so we can go and talk to them.
Much cheaper and easier than finding free webspace.

And I like the idea of using their facilities, I fancy a go on a trampoline. smiley - bigeyes

Well... we *could* try saying hello on the articles themselves. I did not because I did not want to freak out the kids smiley - yikes

Another way would be for a Researcher close to the actual school to just call up and talk to the teacher directly

Oh, and the trampoline idea -- sounds a bit... kinky! I like it! smiley - winkeye

I wonder if they will come back, or if it's a one off?

And kinky, yes, that's what I do. smiley - smiley

Sorry to disappoint you about the bouncing, Mina, but it's not a private school as far as I know. In fact the teacher says they are on an summer ITC course, so it's unlikely to be anything to do with the school at all. My own work place is full of children from all over the world on summer school.
Even though the page isn't active you could say hi to the teacher here http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A610822
Go on! He might be cute. smiley - smiley

I've been over and said hi now. The last time I looked at it he hadn't written that.
Thanks. smiley - smiley

I'm very disappointed you didn't ask if he was cute! I'll pop by and tell him about the BBC project for teachers.

Well, all those giggly school kids, you think I want to embarrass him where I can't see it?

Hmm. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U180282 appears to be written by someone called 'Ellie'

Now I realize this is very little to go on, what with times being what they are, and this site being what it is, and with Researchers concealing/changing their gender, but it seems to me that someone called Ellie might very well be a 'she'

I wonder if she is cute?
