I'm Elly, new here too, but I don't seem to have your self confidence about this site. I read some of your journal (the accident stuff) and I hope you're alright (I'm gonna be a nurse so I'm practicin' here, you see... )
Anyway, just wanted to compliment your writing, seems like you have alot to say, and to ask you the daffy question:
Where did you get that name of yours?
see you around
Elly

Sorry for the delay.
Lemuel is related to Samuel; it's Hebrew for "dedicated to God." (False advertising, I assure you.) My father saw my name before him in a vision, or so he claims. Whatever the case, Lemuel was more common a couple hundred years ago, when it was a great favorite among the puritans. (Gulliver's first name from "Gulliver's Travels" is Lemuel.)
Key: Complain about this post
