LUCIEN-Scouting the web for the out of the ordinary Posted Jul 15, 2001
To be honest I was so frustrated by Barton's disection of my article that I really, just got fed up with it and left it. I had put the article on the scout's page for our peers to take a look at, however I don't see that any of them actually visited the article.
I realize that the article is controversial in nature, and anticipated it. I was not however, prepared to stand trial for the article. Truth suffers from over analyzation.
In the begining when I wrote the article, I wrote it with the intent of arranging my thoughts for something that had been chasing itself around in the back of my brain for awhile. So I made peace with Barton and let the article sit.
Certainly if you agree with Barton, I'll take the word of two people and leave it be. I don't know what the procedure is for bumping articles out of peer review, but perhaps that would be best at this point.
The day I convince Barton that I'm right on this will probably be a day that neither one of us will see.
But a skeptic has its place.
