G'day and welcome to h2g2, the most interseting place on the internet, in my entirely unbiased and unpaid for opinion 
(at least half of that was true 
) As you've no dount discovered, this place is full of interesting articles, wonderful little communities and opinionated but generally affable people. Don't worry if it takes you a little while to get into the swing of things, in no time at all you'll find a nice comfortable section of h2g2, but in the meantime look around, read articles, lurk in forums and drop in and say hi to anyone (including me 
) you come across....have fun and enjoy the guide!
