Shouldn't 'the' be ðe? Þ suggests a hard 'th'.

Þing - KCP' - Thingite #15

Well, yes and no. If it's Icelandic, then yes. But in Old English the þ and ð seem to have been interchangeable, and pronunciation depended on their place in the word. But since that means that both are hard 'th' at the beginning of a word, I admit that 'ðe' (in a sort of Icelandic accent) is closer to modern pronunciation.
