Brain Freeze

I was right. The potplant died.
My First Contribution is almost written. And re-written. Several times. It was stilted. It was boring. It was trying to be funny and failing. It will probably still be all three when it's done, but at least it will be mine, and not a bad attempt to write in a different style. I do intend to follow the grammar guidelines though, although I can't guarantee the spelling will be totally corret.
The one constant has been the subject. It's still about food. Specifically, home-town food, which doesn't seem to have got a mention here yet.

I've unpacked the sofa, and the pot plant that will no doubt die within the next few days, and the litter tray (although the cats are not going to be invited to join me) and am starting to think about the big C word. Contributions. Luckily, it seems that my chosen subject matter hasn't been covered yet and is relevant. But it's going to take some research, so I'm going for lunch. Then I'm going to start writing about food.
