You've done a great job in subbing this entry! However, a few points remain:

- First of all, what happened to the external links? I couldn't find anything which would violate the T&C there. In particular, the sentence starting with 'Refer to a slide show...' doesn't make sense any more without being linked to the web location of the very slide show (the link can be found at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A519383, and it /did/ survive moderation there). Was it the [moderation] which threw them out, or maybe you deleted them in some misunderstanding of the T&C?

- I'd like to have the 1.FCV GMC Helaaf (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U165776) identity listed as a researcher too. Although it's not an existing person, it should be clear after having read the entry that a Carnival Club is more or less a second identity, say, some Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hide duality.

- There's little error below the 'Carnival Calender' headline, talking about Dirty Thursday: cutting men's ties is only allowed *on this day* -- The version *During this time* doesn't reflect the truth.

- minor nits: There's a space missing in the Shrove Tuesday paragraph: theFastnacht. Under 'Schwäbisch-Alemannische Fastnacht: 'waguely' should read 'vaguely'.

Repeating, these are mostly minor items, but, you know, this year's Carnival season is over and Germans have now returned into their Orderly and Thoroughgoing Mode
