Hello and welcome to h2g2!
I noticed you were new here so I thought I'd fly by & say hi!
This is a great place, with lots of things to do!

I read a good one yesterday on "Pistachios" and another one I have read this week was on "Cool Patron Saints"!
You may be inspired to write your own!
Commenting on other Researchers' work starts off good discussions and friendships do develop. Another good way to find like-minded people is to use the "Search" facility at the top of the page, type in a keyword, and see what comes up!
Don't be afraid to post on people's pages, I am always delighted when someone new drops by!

Thanks for the message. I'll try and spend more time at h2g2 - but it's a mind boggling site - and I'm not used to navigating yet.

I'm improving my french by reading 'Le Guide Galactique'. By the way the weather here has been awful, but it is starting to change for the better - the rust may well turn into a suntan soon.
