Well, I've managed to get one interview. I should hear wether or not they want me for a second interview by the end of the week.

Had a couple of interviews, both of which I thought went rather well (I always think they're going well when they compliment me on my technical quiz score and start asking about start dates), but nothing's come of either of them. Thinking of starting out on my own which is possibly the best way to become a millionaire by the time I'm 30, it's just that the whole economy type thing isn't looking too super at the moment.

On the upside, I managed to get my Dad online last week-end. Bearing in mind this guy is used to a typewriter and a telex machine, I think it's quite an achievement

Nice one! A promotion. Did they give you a flashy job title to go with the money?

I've just broken my floppy disk drive, but I'm not sure how I managed it. I'll have to replace it with one of the 37 spare ones in the loft or something.

No news on the job front, really. I'm kinda hoping I'll get a job I've applied for in New Zealand.

Jay and Silent Bob?

Whoa! I've been waiting for that film to come out for like, the last three months. I was going to go and see it in Connecticut in September as I was supposed to be going over there to see a Blink 182 gig. Didn't go in the end cos I got told about the redundancy and decided I probably couldn't afford it anyway.

Might nip out to the cinema tonight and see it. Have you seen Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma? Not too keen on Chasing Amy, but Mallrats and Clerks are among the best films I've ever seen.

No flashy job titles yet. I have an interview on Monday for a job in Norwich - the job title would be "IDS Specialist", but I'm really holding out for "Commander General-in-Chief Of The Cosmos". There's also another more salesy job which I think I'm in with a decent chance of getting. Only problem being that I'm not really into being a sales weasel.

I've got a couple more guide entries off on their way to the Edited Guide. I'm really hoping my entry about ouija boards gets recommended, too.

Not long until the postponed Blink 182 gig now. 10th January at Wembley Arena. It was supposed to be in November but I guess they're just a little scared of flying right now. heh heh.

Oh, and I've been getting really good at annoying Porsche drivers lately. Must be something to do with the "My Other Car's A Porsche, but today I'm in a hurry" sticker on my car. Seems to wind them up a bit. Can't imagine why....
