Hello and welcome to H2G2.
My name is Crystal Butterfly and I am an Assistant Community Editor {ACE} one of a group of volunteers to like to meet and greet and hopefully befriend new researchers.
This is an awesome site, and it does take a little getting used to at first.
If you require any help or assistance, please just click the reply button and I'll be back to help!
Have fun hitchhiking around!

p.s. Why didn't you re-register under your old Researcher number? Did you forget your log in email address or your password?

It wasn't till I found the site again and registered, that I found my old researcher number. I had forgotten when I actually did originally register, I couldn't remember my password, not to mention the pain (I assumed ) of changing addresses from a now non-existent domain "pbsa.com.au" to my current address.
Besides, the clinching argument! I didn't actually submit anything under this Researcher number. If it is possible the old number could be removed.
Re-read what I've said so far and gone back a little bit:: I think that is also a Catch-22 situation, you need a valid email address to change a forgotten password and you need a valid password to change an e-mail address. OR! I could have emailed nice people like yourself and asked what to do.
Anyway, hello to you too Crystal Butterfly. I haven't had a real good look around yet, work keeps interrupting but as I go I'm sure there will be questions/queries.
Thank you for the welcome,
Catch you around,
Ug.

You are very welcome, Ug!
I hope you come back soon.
If you are on a personal pc, you can ask it to "always remember you" then you only have to remember the email address you log in with
