There's a little town north of Pittsburgh named Ambridge - it was named after the American Bridge Company which manufactured bridges.
I don't know if Ambridge is a common name or not - there's only one in my home state of Pennsylvania!
Anyway, welcome to h2g2. Have you given any thought to writing any Guide Entries? That's sort of the main reason this site exists - to get people from around the globe to contribute bits of knowledge with the aim of creating the ultimate Guide to Life, the Universe and Everything.
Do give me a shout if you've got any questions about anything and I'll try to steer you in the right direction!
Cheers!

Thanx Jimi,
I was feeling a little daunted. Ambridge is a town which is host to a British BBC radio program called The Archers. In fact it's not a programme it's an institution! I was spending the evening with a member of the cast, an old chum and couldn't think of a name. Heard it all now eh?
Cheers,
Jen (my name)
P.S I have a big suspision that some thing is living inside my power drill, it talks to me, but I try not to listen. I'll try to find time to explain further on my page this week.
