Already in the virtual go-go bar? You're doing just fine...

If you've got any questions about writing entries, do give me a shout. I'm a Subeditor and a Scout so I pretty much know what sort of things we're looking for in the Edited Guide. smiley - smiley

Oh, I don't dance. No no no. Far too sleazy.

I landed a job as a glass collector!

Thanks for the note though. I'll give you a shout when I've got something editable to post.

Are there any areas which are currently lacking coverage?

See you around

Last year Smiley Ben wrote up a page with 'Entries that need to be Written' at http://www.h2g2.com/A234677
You could check out that list, and if you spy a topic that interests you, run it through the search engine to make sure someone else hasn't already started on a topic and get writing. smiley - smiley

I suggest using the Search Engine because a lot of times, you'll find that someone else had the exact same idea that you did and will write an entry on the same topic, beating you to the punch. However, if you find that to be the case, you can always offer to collaborate with that person and combine your ideas into one entry.

Of course, if you pick some off the wall topic like Lucy the Elephant, Margate City, New Jersey - you're bound to be OK. smiley - smiley

Thanks Jimi

I've had a quick glance through that page - looks like there's still *lots* of scope for writing entries.

I'll go and fetch my pen and ink
