Greetings! I was browsing and your name caught my eye. Is it in reference to Valentine in Ender's Game? How do you spell (and I'm doing this phoenetically) ik-ban-ibe-bleener? I beleive it means that I am a jelly donut.

Yes my name is in reference to the pseudonym used by Valentine in Ender's Game (I've been exposed!). and if you are referencing to what an american president attemted to say in German (I believe it was JFK) that would translate to "ich bin Berline" or "ich bin eine Berline". A "Berline" or Berliner, is one who originates from Berlin, Germany's capital. I think when you use it without the article "eine", or "a" in English, it means I am a berline, which is a fried German jelly doughnut (and very tasty). I'm not sure about the usage of the article though, and the Germans all knew what JFK meant, he just said it wrong. (you might want to check the german though, I've only completed one semester of German 1 )

Coincedentally, I have taken a single semester of French. I certainly can't speak much German, but I'm signed up to take French 2 next semester. So far, I have read the first two Ender books. Et toi? (And you?)

I forgot, to tell ya, but you might be interestedjust for the cultural value. Or you might actually know. Tonight (Dec 22) is the second night of Chanukah. I built my own Menorah (nine-candeled holder) for a school project and I lit it last night. I got my friends to the wear hats too. I am personally not Jewish, but I've taken an interest in it of late. We also went to see the Dungeons and Dragons movie, and it was rather painful. Luckily, we had the theater to ourselves and we could laugh and make fun of it all that we wanted to. Snowball says, wiggle your fingers.
