Hi Mickey.
I sent you an email about a week ago in response to your application to be a Scout... but I didn't get a reply. I used the email address in your Preferences, if that's still current.
Anyway, just to say there's a vacancy for scouting if you're still interested, and also there's space for another Sub-editor, as you recently applied to be one of them too. If you'd like to be one, or both, then do let me know, and I'll sort it all out.
Hope you still have the time and the inclination.

Sorry I didn't get back to you ... I've been away recently and I must have deleted your mail by mistake when I cleared the 213 messages waiting for me when I got back!!!!! 
I would love to take up the sub-ed post which is on offer, I'll pass on the scout for now as I'm about to become a father for the second time and feel I couldn't give enough time to both posts!
