Sorry for being so vague.
That was just a short commentary on what was happening on the Limerick thread.
Hopefully it will get back to normal. It may have already, I'm on my way to check it out.

Although I suspect the thought behind "buff gorge", I swear I have never heard anything like that before.
Would you mind giving me a little background on that little phrase?
My curiosity has gotten the better of me. Besides, I might be inclined to make use of it myself.

Not at all Yogabiker.
Having been driven away from a number of threads because they have been sabotaged by a few people, some of whom have up to twelve or more different h2g2 handles and use them to fill the threads with meaningless mindless prattle.
Having (supposedly intelligent) conversations hijacked by the same cretins who use one’s personal space to have a schizophrenic conversation with their other personae non gratae, and as there appears to be no way that the powers that be in Auntie can do anything to prevent it – one does what one can.
Within the 'house rules, which appear to permit you to be totally destructive, but not use a vast array of harmless words, it seems reasonable to suggest new handles for the offending morons ("Asian_Nephrite") and suggest things that they might do – like "buff gorge" – in the certain knowledge that they will be incapable of arriving at the intended meaning and thus remain blissful in their all-too obvious ignorance.

Thanks to Yogabiker , for i have never heard such a phrase myself. Comming from such a respectable Pedant , i never doubted it wasn't as bad as it sounded . As for this "persona" business i am totally in the dark and would kindly like my name removed from such a list. (woh there Dobin!)

Sorry - no insult meant or intended other than that your front page is horribly similar in content (and lack of content) to the pomum mulier's many pages. It is (rightly) not easy to find out who is behind a screen name, especially if they don't want to be known.
Again - sorry.
