Hi Pedantic
I really daren't answer 9929 on the lymerick thread - I'd get barred for life. Have a look and see what you think, whilst I put something acceptable there instead!!

Hi
DonÕt be scared Ð think differently. The answer, rhyme or whatever doesnÕt need to be course and the beauty of limericks is the double entendre.
There once was a girl from Bombay
Who sailed to China one day
She was lashed to the tiller
By a sex starved gorilla
And ChinaÕs a very long way

Oh Pedantic! you're getting me into so much bother its untrue.
Daughter has been asleep after a twelve hour stint; and said not to wake her. That's fine; but when I read your comments, I can't stop laughing and then I get grumbled at for waking her up.
Your limericks are brilliant - please keep visiting.
By the way, are you the p'dntc in the photo gallery or is that pdntc the policeman?

Hi - Thanks for the compliment Ð I only try to amuse and as I was brought up on a mixture of limericks and nonsense poetry Ð it is like a second nature. I put Moroccan babies to sleep by reciting the Hunting of the Snark and other such stuff. I can guarantee to get a baby to sleep within three minutes (and most other people in the room). No that is not me but if you look hard enough you can find a photograph of me on the net. DONÕT DO IT.

I gather from your last posting on the anagram threads that you did not read my reply about 'Taking offence'.

I am afraid that I haven't a clue what you are talking about. I broke the link with your 'private' anagram game as I seemed to somehow cause offence. Are you now objecting to my contributing to ANY games that you play? I would add that if I notice your name in the posting - I try and avoid following it.

Likewise, at least we know where we stand. Can I just ask politely what planet you are on?

The same one as you - I still haven't a clue as to what you object to. Let's leave it - this was never intended as a mutual abuse thread.

Your reply does not fall short of my expectations. Perhaps if you read MY reply to the conversation YOU initiated you might understand, but you are correct, lets leave it there as we are quite obviously not on the same wavelength

Hi Artisan!
Can you explain exactly which thread it is that is causing this trouble. I've visited your space to try and track it down from there; but am at a total loss.
Also your messages keep coming through on an unrelated thread, which makes it even more difficult to trace back.
Why does my scaredy cat thread with Pedantic have any connection with anagrams? Even being born on Halloween isn't helping me to 'see' the answer to this!!

Hi there scorpio witch, the thread and reply can be found on my personal space, entitled 'Taking offence' sorry for the interruption to your conversation but I'm adopting the ways of your friend of late,

Still at a loss!
I visited the thread 'taking offence' on your PS. The only info I seemed to get was some dispute between you and Pedantic. It didn't inform me how to find the particular anagram thread I'm supposed to have offended in.
Help

Scorpio - I am still trying to find out why the characters differ. Could I ask you to do something for me please. It is to cut the text below and paste it into an MS Word document ten e-mail it to me as an attachment to [email protected]. I you would be kind enough to do that - I might be able to work out what is wrong.
