I recently dropped you an email to let you know that we are currently asking the ACEs to check in on my page at if they are still interested in being an ACE or to let me know if they are finding they don't have enough time and so wish to resign.
But you don't seemed to have replied!
What would you like to do?

oh dear, that's exactly what I came here for, only I'd hoped to beat you to it! I'm terribly sorry, but what with one thing and another, I don't have time to be an ACE at the moment 
So I'll have to resign, I suppose There goes my nice shiny badge! I have to apologise, I really should have done this sooner.
