Lets start with an easy question...what kind of music you into?
your page being missing cause the beeb are so stricked doesn't tell much!(They keep deleting my entries to!)Although i did see you were talking about Mitosis and Meiosis which are topics i am learning about in Biology at the moment!

I like music like My Vitriol, Nirvana, Foofighters, Suicide Machines, Less than Jake, Queens of the Stoneage, Greenday.....etc! Hate popmusic and "all my friends are metalheads"

AND i like lot of the same bands as you! i'm a huge green day fan - went to see them in december, and i still go all glazed over whenever anyone mentions them!!

i also like nine inch nails, deftones (who i also went to see!!) marylin manson, cradle of filth, powderfinger, jack off jill. i'd say my taste in music is.... eclectic!! but i hate pop music!

mieosis and mitosis...... fascinating topics! (or maybe not!) dreaded exams in about 5 weeks.... oh dear!!

anyway, i sortd out my introduction thingy so you should be able to read more fascinating facts about me there! i'm not the most computer literate of people so it took me a while to figure it out!

I was gonna go and see Greenday in Glasgow but my mum & dad wouldn't let me! It was because my exams were about to start so i suppose it was fair!

My exams start 4 weeks from today!Eeek!

scary!!! i just read your intro page - im called emily as well.. very very coincedental!! i actually saw green day in glasgow in december - was amazing... i guess youve got the joys of highers coming up? as mine start in about 4 weeks as well.... its ok, revising is silly! ive managed all my time in school this far without doing any work - and i aint gonna start now!

nah i'm just on my standard grades and i'm so freaked about them! the worst thing is both my french writings are on the same day...eek!

dont worry about your exams - you'll be fine. i was a bit worried last year but they're ok, and besides, think of it this way - if you fail your standard grades it doesn't matter - they don't actually count for anything... that annoyed me last year actually - why bother doing all these exams if you cant actually use them for anything??

well i'm sure that you do use them for something...not a hell of a lot but something!

yeh thats what i thought too... until i got back to school and they informed us 'the exams you just sat are worth nothing'.. best of luck though - im sure youll do well... (3 weeks to go..... aaaarrrrggghh!!)

most of the exams should be sort of ok if i work... exceot maths - who the hell had the idea to put in a non calculator paper?!?!?!

English, Biology, art (on monday!!!), french, Geography, maths, Chemistry and HE!...ick!

Higher Biology
Higher Art
Higher English
Higher Geography and
Int2 Information systems so i don't have to take maths!

I'm having to be tutored for maths because i got 3's in my prelim...and I'm s**t at maths!although i actually got a better grade in my non-calculater than calculator which is freakish! But it's cause they miss out all that trig & stuff!

i HATE non-calculator papers - i didnt have to do one in standard grade cos theyve apparently only just introduced it.... i hated maths.... still do hate it... standard grade isnt too bad though - the papers last year were really difficult so they might make them easy this year!!

anyway just think - only about 2 more weeks and you can drop the subject forever!!!

yep.... the 2000 paper was kinda difficult!!!

mind you, i'm dreading this years maths exam too. i'm bored with school and REALLY tired! still, i only had a 3 day week cos we had monday off, and i'm going to a conference about oxford and cambridge tommorow... hmmm, fun! (well probably not but then again it is a day off school!!)...

Why did you take Higher maths if you hate it so much?

I wasn't at school yesterday! hehe! What a shame!

well at my school you could only take higher music instead of maths, and my parents didnt want me to...

besides, it apparently looks more impressive if you have higher maths when you are applying to uni.

Balls Balls Balls! If i had to take higher maths..my application to uni would just look foolish!

yeah, mine is gonna look pretty stupid when i get the certificate with a fail next to higher maths!!! ive decided that you can get into a lot of courses with only 4 highers... so how much does maths really matter?!
