Hi! Sorry *hangs head in shame* Not been good at the whole talking thing this year - so much to do! From now on I will be better! I'm bored...well, not so much bored as stopped. I have nothing to do...roll on University!
How are you?

I know how you feel- I've just rolled off university so everything's stopped... trying to find a job, but it's not happening all that quickly. So I'm penniless and bored. Gah.
Still my usual chirpy self, as you can see

So I see.
I'm sure there's something really important I've forgotten to buy or do for Uni...I know I have to check that I'm innoculated against every disease known to mankind, but every time I phone the doctor it's engaged

Got accommodation sorted? That's a big thing. Know whan and where you've got to register?
You'll need lots of passport- sized photos, so get a load done and keep them with you- it'll save you queueing for hours only to be told you need one, and then having to queue again...
Other than that... just wing it
Where and when are you going?

Yes. They're brand new and en-suite cos all the halls have had a makeover during the summer!

Ah, we had to cope with an old Edwardian house with asbestos warning labels on all the doors.
My friend in the hall across the wall had a newly refurbished room, without en-suite though. And it had no less than three of those sticky- backed orange smelly things that you put in bathrooms stuck to the wall, and had been stuck there for the three months while the room was locked over the holidays... that smell never did go away, even after she'd taken them off and thrown them away. It was like a Del Monte testing facility in there.

Flatmates are lovely but all girls we think someone asked to be in an all-girl flat, but we're not sure who it was.
I don't know many other people in the block. The other flat on my floor is great, theyr'e all very loud and insane. We're good friends with some of the lads from one of the groudfloor flats as well.
Freshers' week was scary so I avoided having to join too many clubs+ societies!!!!!

Lol, aw, most of our flats were single sex- I put mixed on my form, but I don't think there was much in the way of mixed sex corridors. I'm sure you'll meet plenty of guys through other routes...
Good to know you're getting on well so far, though you should have joined as may clubs and socs as possible! Best way of meeting like- minded people. And the fresher's fair in general- you can stock up on free pens to last your entire course at one of those (I'm not exagerrating!) plus tons of other freebies- I remember bags of groceries from ASDA, free drinks, sim cards, newspapers and even frying pans at ours.

I meant I joined the ones i wanted to join and didn't get involved in rubbishy ones that i didn't want to join. Our flat is the only all-girls one in the block!!!
