It’s compiled by researchers just like you and it's something YOU can take part in. You can write entries on all manner of subjects, and if it's something you think would look good in our Edited Guide (where all the best research goes), you can submit it to Peer Review Take a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.> for more information on that.

You have made a great start by opening your space and I see you have already found a friend in MoG who has left you some great advice One other thing I will add is that your post on books and movies is, in effect a message to yourself - no one's going to see it unless they visit your space. You might like to post it at <./>AskH2G2</.> but I suggest that your bit about not accepting off topic postings is a little tough - firstly, topic drift is a hootoo tradition and secondly, as long as a post doesn't contavene <./>HouseRules</.> you can't restrict what anyone posts. You'll get the feel for this biiig place - as I said - you have made a good start

We ACEs are volunteers here to assist new researchers so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

The Powers will call for volunteers from time to time - but you really need to find out and become familiar with the many areas and procedures of hootoo before you volunteer

No - no age limits - as long as you can demonstrate that you have the required qualities.

Well,i dont want to toot my own horn,but i do think i have the requiered abilities,or so i hope! i have herad from a great deal of people that i am mature for my age,i'm smart,cool and funny,oh,and did i mention i was not the least bit self centered or concentrated?

- you'll do fine - the thing to do now is to get to know this place so that if you get asked a curly question you can at least point them in the right direction.

The PTBs don't call for volunteers often though - so there's no rush

Oh, I'm an old hand - my researcher number is U38014 (5 digits ) I've been here since May 1999
