I see you finally got your home page working 
Guess what - I went to shrewsbury too - are you're going to my old school? My 'house' was Riggs - name's Martin Harper.
What to put on your home space? Whatever you like - most people put a brief description of who they are, and what they are interested in - and some links to h2g2 entries or websites they particularly like.
So what sort of stuff are you interested in? You might want to try doing an h2g2 search (up the top somewhere) - on that sort of stuff to get in contact with like-minded people...
