Ahhh, the BBC Tester's badge. To give away its secrets would be a terrible crime.
Also it would admit that there is no BBC testing for volunteers any more 
Still it was fun while it lasted. You see back in the day there was a development area of the bbc.co.uk site which had a static copy of h2g2 which people were invited to use to test upcoming features.
Since h2g2 has quietened down there is less need for this I guess.
