LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

I am somewhat hesitant to tell my friends that I prayed for a White Christmas this year. I live in the MidWest and we have had several inches of snow a day for the last fifteen or sixteen days. I love snow. When it is snowy everything slows down. There is no pressure to be accomplishing things all the time. People drive more slowly. There are 2 hour delays and snow days for the kids. Everybody bundles up and hunkers down and talks about how cold it is. Snow is beautiful. It covers up the leaves I didn't get raked. The cold weather makes lilacs and apples possible so that when we are in seasons when there is no snow there is still a lot of joy in the world.
