I'm one of the in-house editors at h2g2. Your journal entry made really poignant reading. I'm really pleased you're able to share a unique eye-witness account of a major world event. Hi,
I have read your journal so far. I cannot begin to understand what it is like to live in your neighbourhood - the worst I have to deal with is whether my train is running on time in the morning - but your writing has helped me understand things a bit better. It is *so* important that the world hears what is going on from real people like yourself, and not (as Peta said) from a press syndicate or from an 'official' source - this way we get the truth, and can learn a little.
Keep writing - we'll keep listening and learning.

It looks like most of the things I was about to say have already been said, so I won't repeat them all again. Just wanted to say that I like the way you're writing. It's easy to read, and it's a good way of explaining to the rest of us what life's like over there atm. Keep up the good work, and enjoy your stay over here

Everyone else has already said everything I could say, but much more eloquently than I am capable of this early in the morning.

That being said, please, please keep writing. It's much more personal and meaningful than what we see and hear on the news.

Add my good wishes to everybody else's. I can't say I know what you're going through, or any of the stuff that people usually say when they're trying to be comforting. All I can say is stay strong! We're all behind you in any way we can be.

I will be praying for you. This is no way to live. It is my prayer that everybody over there will somehow be able to find a way to get over their differences and get along. I don't know how, I just know that there has to be a better option than the endless senseless killing and destruction. Courage, and hope.

It has all been said already so with that I would like to say I could never imagine having to go through what your family is in the middle of.

I will continue to read your journal and pray for the safety of your family and everyone else.
