That's a good start! At some point we need to unpack the boxes from when we thought we were moving out but it turned out we weren't.

Oh, I have those boxes, too! I was 90% packed in June and then the first sale fell through. I pulled out the essential stuff to use until we found a new buyer. That took 3 months. My poor fall and winter clothing is now a wrinkled mess.

I found the socks this morning.

I had a friend whose house sale fell through ( as did mine a decade back and all my belonging were in storage over Christmas) but hers included ALL of her clothes and her son's clothes too, as she thought it was going to be just a weekend arrangement. It took months before the whole thing was finally settled. She just *had* to buy a whole new wardrobe, luckily she had the finances at the time, else it could have been a total disaster.
