Yeah, I'm doing fine. Feeling a lot calmer than before. The person who died was my mother-in-law, who lived with us for the last several years. She was 86 and had been slowly slipping away for a number of years. She was a delightful lady, who had a long and very good life, ... and a peaceful and touching death, which we were privileged enough to assist in making better.
Those bits give us some solace, but it hurts no less.
I have finally realized the practicality of funeral arrangements for the bereaved ... it gives you something else to focus on the first few days.
